Remote Desktop Connection 7.0 Released for Vista and XP

One of the areas in Windows Server 2008 R2 that has been improved quite dramatically is Remote Desktop Services, formally called Terminal Services. It’s playing a new role in Server 2008 to provide an extensible platform for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

In order to fully utilize all features existing in this new Remote Desktop Services, you will need an updated version of RDP client. Windows 7 already has the latest version built in and Microsoft has just released version 7 of RDP client for both Vista and XP.

The book was written by Charlie Russel and Craig Zacker, along with the Windows Server Team at Microsoft. It’s a wonderful resource that can get your hands on this new released Windows Server. And what is more awesome is that Microsoft offers this introduction book through Windows Server 2008 R2 site for FREE. Windows Live Writer Plug-ins for WordPress

I love Live Writer so much that I use it almost everyday. It’s the best blogging tool in my own opinion. If you still haven’t used it I urge you to give it a try right away. It’s a life saving tool for any type of blogger.

The tool is so powerful and feature rich that I never found a need that requires me to use any type of plug-ins, even though there are tons out there on Windows Live Gallery for me to download for free. But I can’t ignore this

Finally, Twitter has started rolling out a very long missed feature, Lists, that is pretty similar to Groups or Favorite Users that are on 3rd party Twitter client tools. It first appeared on one of my two twitter account above the all status updates but disappeared now. So I guess they are still testing and working on this new feature.

My motivation just got tripled

With the arrival of the twin girls on Monday Oct 5, 2009, I am now officially a father to 3 lovely girls, Samantha, Arianna, and Brianna.

My motivation of doing anything just got promoted triple times, which left me no time doing things that are wasting time, e.g. writing this post.
